Bread for the City’s #GivingTuesday was an AMAZING day! With the help of our supporters, Bread for the City raised $117,895 in just 24 hours — meeting our anonymous match of $50,000, and then some–in a big way! When we add in the $50,000 match, we raised a grand total of $167,895 in support of DC residents living on low income.

SE Expansion Update

There’s so much good news on our SE building construction!

96% complete on overall construction.
Parking aisle pavers are being installed.
Dental equipment has been delivered and is now being installed.
Marble tile has been installed on the main floor lobby walls and is being installed on the 2nd and 3rd floor lobby walls.
Pavers are being installed in the rooftop vestibule area.
A wood ceiling is being installed in the main lobby.
PEPCO power is in place and up and running.
Washington Gas service is up and running.
Water and sewer line connections are complete.
The elevator is operational.
