DC Cares funding is now available!

To qualify for DC Cares, you must be an adult who lives in Washington, DC and be part of one of the following categories:
- You have been released from incarceration or detention during the coronavirus pandemic (on or after March 11, 2020)
- You are an immigrant without work authorization AND have experienced income loss during the pandemic
- You work for cash or in the informal economy (for example – street vending, domestic work, day labor) AND you have experienced income loss during the pandemic.
Individuals who received financial assistance through the DC Cares program in the past are NOT eligible to apply again. However, if someone else in your household qualifies, please encourage them to apply.
