Bread for the City helps Washington, DC residents living with low incomes to develop their power to determine the future of their own communities. We provide food, clothing, medical care, and legal and social services to reduce the burden of poverty. We seek justice through community organizing and public advocacy.

Our corporate partners share our values and vision for our community’s future.  With your year-long partnership commitment, we’ll find meaningful ways for your team to engage with Bread for the City, including:

  • Group volunteer opportunities in food program, clothing room, or City Orchard
  • Information session at your office led by BFC’s Corporate Partnerships Team
  • Tickets to our annual Good Hope Gala
  • Recognition on our website, social media, and at our events throughout the year
  • … and more!

Bread for the City Corporate Partners join community members in cutting the ribbon at our City Orchard Grand Opening Event.

Volunteers from Clark Construction help pack turkey dinners during Holiday Helpings.

Avalere Health team members enjoy a night out at Bread for the City’s annual gala.
