Your support is urgently needed as, for the first time, we are able to bring our medical, dental, and vision services to Southeast DC. The Michelle Obama Southeast Center of Bread for the City will be a model for the region and the nation, which holistic, wrap-around services provide support to community members where they are. That’s why we’re counting on your continued support.
No goods or services were provided in exchange for your gift. Bread for the City is a tax-exempt, nonprofit organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; EIN #52-1138207.
Thank you for supporting Bread for the City’s efforts to serve DC families in need with the dignity and respect everyone deserves. Your donation to Bread will go a long way towards helping our friends and neighbors this year. Thanks to your support, we were able to serve over 33,000 clients last year through nearly 52,000 visits to our food pantries, clothing rooms, medical clinic, and legal clinics.
Effective Monday, August 1st:
Bread for the City will begin distributing groceries at the front door of both centers Mon-Thurs, 9a-4p. No groceries will be distributed on Fridays, but we will still have farmer’s markets once a month at each center!
