On Wednesday, June 19, 2024, we celebrated Black liberation at Bread for the City’s Michelle Obama Southeast Center. This family-friendly block party in the heart of Anacostia featuring
local Black-owned business marketplace, food, live performances, and educational sessions, all rooted in Black culture and history.
