Ashley Domm serves as Head of Advancement and Chief Development Officer at Bread for the City, where she leads a team of fundraising professionals tasked with coordinating comprehensive fundraising strategies and activities to help ensure the organization can deliver on its mission to support the community in Washington, D.C.

Associate Director of Development

Kristen Kozlowski started at Bread for the City in 2011 as the grant writer, and is now the Associate Director of Development. In this role, she manages the grants and communications programs for both the annual fund and "Building on Good Hope" Capital Campaign.

Annual Giving Manager

As the Annual Giving Manager, Rebecca Helberg helps to grow Bread for the City's individual donor program. She is excited to build relationships with major donors, communicate how their generous gifts impact our mission, and help us raise funds to support Bread for the City's programs. In her free time, Rebecca is a big baseball fan, loves watching TV, and reading. She is also active in the Women’s Information Network, Avodah: the Jewish Service Corps, and the YWCA.

As Corporate Partnerships and Events Associate, Christina Puppi helps to grow Bread for the City's corporate fundraising program. She also coordinates fundraising efforts for Holiday Helpings and the Good Hope Gala. Christina is a major book enthusiast, and she can be found library hopping throughout DC.

Patty Gonzalez has been with Bread for the City since 2012. Currently, Patty is an active member of the finance team, ensuring that gifts are entered correctly for accounting purposes and the development team. She also ensures timely, relevant, and thoughtful acknowledgment of all monetary gifts and donation inquires to Bread for the City. In her spare time, Patty enjoys cooking for her family. She also loves to dance some Bachata whenever possible.

As COO, Jeannine Sanford is BFC’s second-in-command and responsible for overseeing daily administrative, programmatic, and business operations. Sanford also establishes policies and procedures that promote BFC’s culture and vision, sets goals to promote sustainability and growth, manages relationships with partners and vendors, and leads employees to encourage job satisfaction, performance, and dedication.

In this multifaceted role, she advises the director team on the implications of change and growth, including working to develop a strong recruitment and training program, ensuring a safe working environment, helping employees navigate challenges, developing competitive compensation and benefits packages, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations, and creating training and professional development opportunities for employees.
