A virtual workshop hosted by LaBarron Burwell. Join us in person while LaBarron will be facilitating on Zoom.
This five-part series explores how the stories men tell themselves influence their health, relationships, performance, and sense of purpose. Participants will learn practical mental hygiene practices that support the Six Dimensions of Wellness—emotional, physical, intellectual, social, spiritual, and occupational—while examining how appraisal, disposition, and mindset shape daily experiences.
This month’s topic is The Mindful Man: Stress, Identity, and Daily Practices
We will bring the series together by focusing on how men can build a sustainable mindfulness practice that supports emotional regulation, self-awareness, and long-term wellness.
Focus areas:
How men carry stress silently
Identity, pressure, and performance
Daily mindfulness practices for real life
Building a personal mental hygiene routine
Activity:
Create a personal mindfulness toolkit with 3 to 5 practices to use during stress, conflict, fatigue, or overwhelm
