In February 2020, Bread for the City shared that we filed suit against the Trump Administration over new restrictions to SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits, and in March, the District Court issued a decision that temporarily stopped the feds from implementing its new SNAP restrictions. Though the Trump administration initially planned to appeal, it has now opted to delay implementation of the new requirements initially set to go into effect on April 1.
