Dignity and Respect: two words that you will see hung up in our lobbies, mentioned in our mission statement, and deeply rooted in the work that we do everyday at Bread for the City. We strive to create and maintain an atmosphere of dignity and respect for all who walk through our doors. From receiving services in our medical clinic to making sure our facilities are clean! Including…bathrooms.
When our linoleum flooring was starting to show wear and tear in our NW Center lobby restrooms, MCN Build stepped in to save the day! They were quick to enthusiastically say yes to the project and got right to work. A big thank you and shout out to Mike Waidmann and his crew for their hard work and the beautiful new tile floors! We are so grateful for the many ways MCN Build supports our clients, programs, and staff. From annual funding support, volunteering, fixing floors, to even movie tickets for staff!
PLUS, MCN Build’s co-founder and beloved BFC board member, Rudy Seikaly, treated the staff to a showing of Black Panther on February 28th. And Rudy even joined in on the fun! The entire BFC staff packed the theater and were thrilled to see the revolutionary film together (and to get an afternoon off :).
From the entire Bread for the City family, thank you MCN Build for your genuine, generous, and incredible support. We are so grateful to have you in our corner.
