“Hello everyone! I’m so excited to join the housing team here at Bread for the City. I wish I could meet everyone in person, but this will have to do for now. I graduated from UDC School of Law in May of 2019. In my spare time, I enjoy singing, photography, and reading. I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone!”
Hello everyone! My name is Darien Wynn, and I recently joined BFC as a COVID-19 Legal Fellow on the Public Benefits Team. I’m a Maryland native and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School last May. Most recently, I was a judicial law clerk in the Northern District of West Virginia. In my spare time, I enjoy being active (I’m a new yogi!), drawing/painting, reading, listening to music (I really miss going to live shows, but the Instagram Live Verzuz battles and new music released during the pandemic have kept me occupied!), and rooting for the Tennessee Titans on Sundays. I’m excited to join the BFC family and look forward to connecting with each of you — hopefully in person — over the course of my fellowship!
Hello! I am very excited to join Bread and cannot wait to meet more new colleagues. I have very little spare time because I have an 18-month-old who demands constant interaction, but when I do get a free moment, I like to run, knit, and read.
Hey, my name is Diana and I’m originally from Missouri/Arkansas. After college, I worked as a community organizer, helped open a coffee shop, got a Master’s at Georgetown in Conflict Resolution, worked/conducted research in India and Cambodia, and then returned to the midwest for law school. I am a big fan of being outside with my dog Maple and cannot wait for live music to be a thing that exists in the world again. I am thrilled to be back in D.C. and am truly honored to be joining the BFC family as a Housing Law Fellow. Looking forward to getting to know each of you!
Hello everyone. I am Dimitri and I am very excited to join the Housing team as a new Staff Attorney at Bread. I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio and I recently moved to DC after extended trips visiting relatives in the District over the past few years. While in law school I spent my time working for a number of public interest organizations throughout the Northeast Ohio region. I am an avid sports fan of all Cleveland professional teams and The Ohio State University teams. I look forward to meeting all of you in the office at some point in the not so near future.
Hi! I’m Julie and I’m excited to be back with BFC! I’m originally from Yakima, WA but have been on the East Coast for 8 years now. I was a public defender in Philadelphia for the past 2+ years but am so grateful to be back in DC and with the Bread Housing Team! In my free time I love to do all the outdoor things – hiking, biking, running, kayaking, walking, sitting in a park. I also love to travel and eat all kinds of food. I can’t wait for all of us to be back in person and to meet everyone!
